1. What personal information do we collect and for what purpose?
A2Z Adventures collects several personal data in order to perform the services requested by the user. For example, to receive our monthly A2Z Adventures newsletter, e-mail, name and interests need to be provided, while for booking a trip, complete personal details (including birth date, personal address and others) need to be provided. Personal information regarding diet and health issues are only used by the tour leader for your safety in case of an emergency.
A2Z Adventures will not share your e-mail addresses, telephone numbers, personal address or other data with other companies, organizations or individuals, without your explicit consent.
A2Z Adventures does not share your billing information with any other companies or organizations except to process your credit card for your A2Z Adventures trip payment.
A2Z Adventures may share your name, nationality and birth-date to contract your personal trip insurance.

2. Website navigation
Each time a user visits our website, navigation information is collected by our servers. This information is aggregate and anonymous. It gives us information such as the number, frequency and duration of visits to each web page which we use to improve the content and navigation features of our website. A third-party cookie such as the Google Analytics Advertising Features may also be placed on your computer that will collect information about your visit to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. Usage of such cookies is not linked to any personally identifiable information.

3. Who has access to your information and to whom is it disclosed?
The access to all personal data is only granted through UserId/Password to a very well defined group of users. These users typically are: the A2Z Adventures manager acting as controller of the processing of personal data and the A2Z Adventures administrative team dealing with your booking.
No personal data is transmitted to third parties, except name, nationality and birth-date for insurance purpose and billing data in case of credit card payment.

4. How can you verify, modify or delete your information?
In case you want to verify which personal data is stored on your behalf by the responsible controller, have it modified, corrected, blocked or deleted, please send an e-mail to webmaster@a2z-adventures.com by explicitly specifying your request.
Special attention is drawn to the consequences of a deleted request, in which case any trace to be able to contact you will be lost.

Visit the oldest portuguese synagogue from the 15th century. Discover the templars town of Tomar and travel back in time in the 12th century medieval villages. Visit Pedro Álvares Cabral hometown, the discoverer of Brazil.

Discover one of the most beautiful regions of Portugal. Starting at Tomar, the templar village, continue through the unique Alentejo landscape with its rolling hills covered with cork trees and its small villages. Then cycle through the history and the culture of 12th Century Historical Villages of Portugal like Monsanto or Sortelha, making this an unforgettable bike trip. The 15th Century Jewish district in Castelo de Vide with its tiny synagogue, the oldest in Portugal, is another highlight of the week. You can go back home saying that you stayed in a Medieval monastery!

Lisboa | Tomar (Warm-up ride: 34 km / 21 mi)
Meet at the airport in Lisboa. Van transfer to Tomar. After lunch you will go for a short warm-up ride around the beautiful city of Tomar.

Tomar | Flor da Rosa (70 km / 44 mi)
Enjoy the beautiful landscape of the Alentejo, with its rolling hills covered with cork trees on the way to your inn built around a medieval monastery.

Flor da Rosa | Marvão (68 km / 42 mi)
Castelo de Vide's 15th century former Jewish district and its tiny synagogue, the oldest in Portugal, as well as the breathtaking views along the Serra de São Mamede natural park are the highlights of today's ride. You will also see a bridge that was crossed by thousands of Jews as they escaped the Spanish inquisition. And then there's the final 5 km/ 3 mi climb to the walled village of Marvão!

Your ride starts in Nisa. You will cross the bridge over the Tejo river in Vila Velha de Rodão and enter the Tejo Internacional Natural Park, a protected area of extreme beauty.

Ladoeiro | Monsanto (45 km / 28 mi)
Monsanto, your destination of the day, is a medieval fortress village and was once considered the most typical village in Portugal. At an elevation of 600 m/ 1969 ft it offers extraordinary views of the surrounding landscape. In Monsanto you feel like you have traveled back in time.
