Discover one of the most beautiful regions of Portugal. Starting at Tomar, the templar village, continue through the unique Alentejo landscape with its rolling hills covered with cork trees and its small villages. Then cycle through the history and the culture of 12th Century Historical Villages of Portugal like Monsanto or Sortelha, making this an unforgettable bike trip. The 15th Century Jewish district in Castelo de Vide with its tiny synagogue, the oldest in Portugal, is another highlight of the week. Daily Itinerary
Lisboa | Tomar (Warm-up ride: 34 km / 21 mi)
Meet at the airport in Lisboa. Van transfer to Tomar. After lunch you will go for a short warm-up ride around the beautiful city of Tomar.
